Paradise on the Lake

a B&B with charm...

Places to go....things to see....Joys to unfold....Wine to savour

The Finger Lakes region is richly known for its robust wineries and breweries. This area also has many other touring interests. It is deep in national history including the proud birthplace of Memorial Day and Women's Rights, an integral part of the Underground Railroad, and an inspiration for the movie, It's a Wonderful Life.  It offers a fascinating geological history with the dramatic glacial formations of the eleven Finger Lakes and breathtaking waterfalls, including Watkins Glen and those in the Ithaca area.  In the midst of this beauty are many hiking/biking trails and water activities on the lakes as well as the /Seneca and Erie Canal system.  Paradise B&B is ideally located within three to ten miles of many fine restaurants, and that is really important toward the end of a fun-filled day.  As you plan your trip, please feel free to contact our owner and host, Garey Adamson, for ideas and directions.  Garey is a proponent of Bob Dyan's line from MY Back Pages, "using ideas as my map."  He and Linda will share their ideas with you.
